This documentary was revealing and also interesting. My heart goes out to all of those that were affected by the chain of events exposed in the documentary. However, this documentary failed to reveal the full historical timeline of Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe was originally South Zambezia and through colonization it was labeled South Rhodesia. In 1895 it's colonial name became Rhodesia and was widely known as being the worse colony on the African continent pursuant to how the original people of South Zambezia were beaten, tortured, terrorized and killed primarily for their abundantly rich GOLD & DIAMOND mines, as well as other valuable resources that remain to exist, to this day. What I found to be appalling is that Cecil Rhodes, (whom Rhodesia was named after) the founder of the British South Africa Co., Ian Smith, Clifford Dupont, John Wrathall and others were not mentioned one time, and were responsible for the colonial dictatorship that destroyed thousands upon thousands of Black ppl's lives for well over a half a century. Cecil Rhodes' British South Africa Co. shipped tons of GOLD and an overwhelming abundance of DIAMONDS out of Rhodesia, formerly South Zambezia, now known as Zimbabwe. I realize two wrongs don't make a right but based on the overall contents and aim of this story, in my opinion, it was misleading, being that it only exposed one portion of one side of the coin.
