Documentary: The Decline and Fall of America

It was interesting to hear a few soldiers and former Halliburton employees discuss how the American tax payer's dollars (as we're regularly reminded) are being spent on the Iraq war... The doc also emphasizes that several thousand civilians, men, women and children were killed or injured in Iraq, mostly through aerial bombs... It further stresses that none of the, well publicized, Al Qaeda group had any ties to Iraq. What's really interesting is that the average person doesn't have a clue as to how reckless money is thrown at corporations that contract with the government to provide different services for US soldiers. To this day there's war related agenda's being discussed and played out in Afghanistan for instance, while the economy is precarious and very uncertain, causing people to loose jobs, businesses and homes. Apparently this is not a priority in the eyes of those that govern and play a central role in the distribution of funds... It also appears that the tax cut for the rich really says: "since the war is immoral those of you with millions/billions don't have to contribute taxes to assist in paying for it.." Meanwhile the Iraq and Afghanistan wars which are seen as having no merit whatsoever have caused trillions of dollars of debt passed down to the poor.. Overall this documentary will add more insight to what you more than likely, already know....
