If you're not familiar with David Walker's Appeal I strongly suggest that you read it. There's a spiritual message within it's contents that should not be passed. Shortly after the release of David Walker's Appeal the state of South Carolina established a law that made it illegal for any Black person to possess a copy of David Walker's Appeal.
