11-Year-Old Shoots Himself In The Leg

Another disturbing event that raises more questions as to why in a so-called civilized society fire arms, or guns, are so prevalent. Just in case you haven't been informed, 90 percent of all civilized societies on the globe do not allow it's citizens to possess or own a fire arm or gun. Are we missing something?  Should the 2nd amendment as noted in the US constitution be reviewed, debated and eventually eradicated based on the overwhelming number of injuries and fatalities associated with the 2nd amendment of the US constitution?
